Keep Farther Thy Shears From Me!

Natasha’s Mini Hair Story!!!

This is me and my mummy, she took this picture!!!

Last week I had a very bad hair week, because mummy was tired and couldn’t  do my hair. And also because it takes 4 discontinuous hours to do my hair, because I am restless.

I mean the process starts during bathing time, where she shampoos my hair. See, I don’t  like water and soap in my face,  so it’s always been a mission, until mummy found this amazing flower cap I wear to prevent water from getting onto my face and into my  ears. Normally she plaits me while I am bathing, but see that hurts her back, so now we do it while I watch  cartoons on TV and Baby Shark on YouTube, and at times Frozen on mummy’s laptop… Yes all at once. It takes an army of entertainment to make me sit still.

Look at that nappy hair!!!

After an hour I want to sleep, because I just bathed, so I ask mummy for ‘bhabhu’, I even choose the color of the towel I want to be used, she takes the towel and puts me on her back. I fall asleep. She can never attempt to plait me in my sleep, because I am such a light sleeper, so she waits until I wake up.

When I wake up, I want to eat and cuddle, I don’t want her to touch my hair, so she waits for me to be in the zone. And we continue the process. Sometimes she plaits me as I am running around the house, because I can’t sit still remember.  Poor mummy!!

See, she put a pretty bow on my hair!!!

So I understand when she is lazy to plait me, mummy ISN’T SUPERWOMAN. And I understand why she doesn’t want to take me to the salon, she wants me to go there when I understand why I need to sit still for a continuous 2 hours …

During my bad hair week, she always made sure I looked presentable with a pretty bow on my fro, which I removed at times… lol…

Yesterday she came through, and plaited my hair, and even put some colourful beads on the hurr. As usual it took 4 hours to achieve this look. As soon as she was done, I rushed to the mirror, and declared “Oh, wow, thank you mummy, NDACHENA!!!”

You Can’t Touch This ‘Do!!

Thank you Mama Abie.

This is what I think Tasha would be telling her friends at Nursery when they compliment each other on the beautiful hairdos they are rockin’…

Everything else but the statement in quotes, (which is what she actually says after every hair do) are the wishful thoughts of a smitten mummy!!! LOL…
